Apollo, a noble and romantic contemporary gas fire : Drugasar Ltd

Apollo is one of the giants of the DRU Designer Collection. It has a massive heat output of 9 kW, sufficient for exceptionally large rooms. Its glass front has a width of 1.2 metres, making a strong statement in any living room.

Like all DRU ‘Slimline’ models, it is a frameless fire that can be installed on its own in ‘hole-in-the-wall’ fire format, or combined with a selection of contemporary surrounds, as our pictures show.

You have a choice of fire beds in traditional logs or contemporary Carrara stones. In addition, the interior of the fire is available in either black polished steel or ‘Chamotte’ bricks for a more rustic look.

Operated by remote control, Apollo includes the famous DRU Vario Burner System ® for an impressive glow all around the hearth. The flames can be easily adjusted to suit the time of day or time of year that the fire is in use.

The Apollo 80 Slim Line II has two striking features. First and foremost its size makes this fire suitable for installation in almost any living room. In addition, the fire is equipped with unique DRU Slim Line II technology. Because of this, all visible surrounds and frames have been removed and only the glass window and fire remain. This innovation is unique to DRU fires.

Features
The Apollo 80 Slim Line II has a black polished interior. The wood fire consists of a substantial log set, which results in a generously filled fire bed. Access to the inside is gained through the Easy Release® glass window. It can be opened very easily, allowing the glass to be cleaned when required. The ingenious Vario Burner® will give a high flame picture with a beautiful glow effect. A remote control, provided with various functions, is delivered as standard, giving extra ease of control.

Placement
