DRU produces one of the world’s finest selections of contemporary fire surrounds and gas fires for both modern and traditional-style homes.

Fire surrounds and gas fires from DRU can be installed in all homes, regardless of whether they have a chimney. Many of the DRU fires use the balanced flue system. A fire can be located on or near to an outside wall, with the flue fitted through the wall or vertically through the roof.

DRU also produces a range of products can be installed in a conventional chimney. The flue connection fits directly into the chimney aperture and uses natural convection to draw air from the chimney for combustion, expelling waste air back up the chimney.

DRU makes fire surrounds and gas fires in many different styles. There are contemporary fires such as the Concerto, which can be used as a ‘hole-in-the-wall’ fire or matched with a selection of classic fire surrounds for the complete fireplace look. There are also more traditional style fires, such as the Castello, that can only be combined with a fire surround and are designed to compliment a more period-style home.

DRU fire surrounds and gas fires are available in both gas and electric versions. The DRU Electric Collection includes four elegant models, three of which can be combined with tailor-made fire surrounds to create a very attractive fireplace suite. The flame pattern on the electric fires uses LED technology to closely resemble the effect of a living flame gas fire.
