DRU Apollo is double award winner at Hearth & Home 07
Drugasar has won two top awards at the prestigious Heath & Home Awards 2007 in Harrogate. The Awards, which coincide with the Hearth & Home exhibition, are an annual opportunity for the UK fireplace industry to reward product innovation and excellence.
The DRU ‘Apollo’ frameless, balanced flue gas fire, combined with the customised ‘Sienna’ fire surround came top in the categories for ‘Gas Fireplace Suite of the Year’ and overall ‘Fireplace Suite of the Year’. It was praised by the judges for its bold and impressive contemporary appearance.
The Apollo is one of the larger fires in the DRU Designer Collection. It has a substantial 9 kW heat output, enough to heat a larger than average room. It can be installed as a ‘hole-in-the-wall’ fire or combined with the Sienna blue stone surround. Either way, it makes a strong statement in any living room.
Apollo customers have the choice of fire beds in logs or ‘Carrara’ stones, whilst the interior of the fire can be finished in black metal or ‘Chamotte’ brick. It is operated by remote control, has full electronic ignition and is available from exclusive DRU dealers throughout the UK.
