Dormer Tools is one of the world’s leading producers of high speed steel cutting tools. Part of the Sandvik group, the company has manufacturing centres in Sweden, The Netherlands, Italy and Brazil. Its UK operation is based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

Dormer recently identified the need for a new heating system for its packing and distribution department in Worksop. The building had old-fashioned gas wall heaters that were both ineffective and inefficient. These were replaced with new ‘Art’ series wall heaters from gas heating specialists Drugasar.

‘Art’ series heaters utilise the balanced flue system. Air is drawn from outside the building for combustion using natural convection. The result is safe, comfortable and efficient heating. And because the heaters have capacities of up to 10 kW, they can easily heat up large spaces.

In addition, ‘Art’ series heaters can be run on either natural gas or LPG, and require no electrical supply. This makes them ideally suited to remote sites and portable buildings.

Drugasar heaters are in widespread use in churches, schools, public buildings and industry. The company also provides a complete design, installation and maintenance service using its national team of CORGI registered gas engineers.
