Drugasar, in partnership with Manchester fireplace dealer, De Brae, recently appeared in the popular Channel Five TV makeover programme, ‘Colin & Justin’s How Not To Decorate’.

The show featured the Dru Passeo gas fire as the centrepiece of a home being renovated in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

Engineers from Drugasar and De Brae were shown installing the fire, which is a frameless, hole-in-the-wall model. A spokesperson for the programme said:

‘This was probably the best reveal we have had in the series. The owners of the house loved it so much that they were crying through most of it! They stated that the fire was one of their favourite features in the house’.

The Passeo, which is a balanced flue fire, can be installed on its own or with a choice of three different fire surrounds. Drugasar has also recently launched the Venteo, a smaller version of the same model.
